Who we are

We are expert ham makers. For several generations we have been curing hams with care, patience and dedication.

We are experts because we have Master Ham Makers who know everything about ham, who know and control its processes, its curing times. They listen to the hams and know what they need at every moment.

And we don't do anything that we haven't learned from our elders. That's why our processes are natural, traditional, like those of all life.

Our history

 It all started with Luciana

Luciana (Ciudad Real) benefits from a special microclimate and specific vegetation which, together with our master ham maker, give our ham a unique and characteristic taste. The Montes Norte area is characterized by its mountainous relief crossed by the valleys of several rivers.

Luciana is located between the banks of the rivers Bullaque and Guadiana, surrounded by mountains and hills that make its climate extreme; very cold in winter and very hot in summer. The local vegetation is mainly composed of mastic trees, rockrose bushes, myrtle and rosemary bushes, and different types of trees such as oaks, willows, ashes and poplars.

All these components make our healing process exceptional.

1965

Our beginning had its origin with the opening of a small shop in Luciana (Ciudad Real) where hams were elaborated with a lot of love and taking care of every detail.
